Below you'll find some information about what it's like to work with respondcreate as well as a ball-park idea of how much you can expect to pay for the services we offer. Just keep in mind that our forté is crafting custom solutions so we won't be able to give you an exact quote until we have a more in-depth conversation about exactly what you need.

Process

Step One: Initial Consultation and Detailed Project Proposal - Cost: FREE

We'll meet with you in person (or over the phone if you don't live nearby) and talk about who your target audience is, what you'd like your website to do and how you'd like everything to look. After discussing your specific needs, we will begin work on a detailed project proposal that will be completed and sent to you within 4 business days. The proposal will outline exactly what we'll do for you, how much everything will cost, and on what dates you can expect to see completed work.

Now that you have our detailed project proposal, there are two ways you can proceed.

Option 1: You're on board with our proposal.

Great! We'll get started on making this new site a reality as soon as we can! We'll let you know exactly what information we'll need from you to get started and you'll pay us 50% of the total project cost up-front. Once the site is completed you'll pay us the second half of the total cost and we'll push your site live to the public.

Option 2: You decide to wait.

Creating a new website is a big important step for any business and something you should not take lightly. It may be that the timing isn't right or that your hard-earned profits should be invested elsewhere for the time being. If this is the case, don't fret, because the project proposal we wrote for you is a very valuable piece of information indeed. It will provide you with a complete overview of what is possible for your website and how much it will cost to make it a reality. Now that you are armed with this information you can take some time to think about moving forward, shop around to see if you can get a better deal elsewhere or take the time to plan ahead and divert finances for the future if you think working with respondcreate is a wise investment.

Pricing

Average Costs: What you can expect to pay.

At the very minimum a site will cost $1000 but, to be honest, that won't get you much. Most small business sites will end up with a total price-tag of $2,500 and $3,500. If you need an eCommerce solution you'll probably end up spending at least $4,000. It's important to note that we do custom solutions at respondcreate so the price will vary from client to client depending on what their particular needs are. If you have very specific budgetary restrictions just let us know up front and we'll do our best to tailor a solution that will give you exactly what you need at a price you'll be comfortable with.

Process

Step One: Initial Correspondence - Cost: $0

Within 2 business days after you fill out the info on our hire/contact page, we will be in touch to say hello and give you a copy of our super-neat questionnaire. Our correspondence will continue until we feel as though we have a good enough sense of who you are and what you’re looking for.* (This generally takes 3-5 follow-up emails.)

*Please note that if we’re feeling like you would probably be happier with another company, we will share that thought with you at this point. For some additional information regarding whether or not you and respondcreate will be a good fit, please visit our true love page.

Step Two: Initial Design - Cost: $100

Our previous correspondence with you + major brainstorms + lots of creative energy will combine to help us produce a proof of your design theme, which we will typically provide within one week from receipt of the deposit. Once you’ve had time to look over the proof and make any notes, we will welcome any feedback and begin work on the second and final proof (should it be necessary).

Step Three: Finalizing Details/Setting A Schedule/Determining Cost

Now that a theme has been agreed upon, we will collect the following information:

  • Pieces needed (i.e., save-the-date, invitation, belly band, RSVP card, thank you card, program, stamps, etc.)
  • Sizes
  • Quantities
  • Wording
  • Paper/envelope choices
  • Date everything needs to arrive on your doorstep
  • Additional service requests

(No need to be overwhelmed by this part! We are prepared to explain your options and help you figure out exactly what you need, from sizes to colors to wording.)

Once all necessary information has been acquired, we will give you an exact quote for the entire project, as well as send you a schedule outlining due dates.

Step Four: Getting to Work - Cost: 50% of total project cost

We’re ready to roll! We know what you need and you know what to expect from us. Your work from here on out will consist only of proof approvals and info confirmations. Our workload from this point forward will be kicked up a couple notches!

Once we receive 50% of the total project cost from you, we’ll get moving. We will proceed as per our schedule (mentioned in Step Three), sending pieces to print only after we have your go-ahead.

Step Five: Wrap-Up - Cost: Remaining 50% of total project cost

After your pieces have been printed, we will request your final payment and begin working on whatever assembly is necessary. Addressing, stuffing, and stamping will be left up to you unless you'd prefer we take care of those as well. We would be most happy to do so, and will arrange that with you when we're finalizing the details in Step Three.

When your entire order is ready to start its journey to you, we'll confirm your ship-to address, send it out, and email you a tracking number. Done!

Average Costs: What you can expect to pay.

Due to the sheer amount of variables involved in creating custom invitations (number of different pieces being created, quantity to be printed, paper/envelope options, etc.) it's impossible to give a specific idea of how much you can expect to pay without first getting some information about your particular project. Please send us the details and we'll be more than happy to send you a quote within 2 business days.
